Installation
The brackets are first be screwed or bolted to the solar module using suitable stainless steel self-tapping screws. You will need to drill a clearance hole in the ABS brackets at the appropriate recessed ports. Once the brackets are attached to the panel the whole can be bonded to the roof surface.

Installation Manual
1. You will need to drill a clearance hole in the ABS brackets at the appropriate recessed ports.
Place the panel mounts on a flat surface, then position the panels onto the mounts. Drill a pilot
hole through mount directly into panel frame. When drilling the holes in the solar panel frame to
attach the bracket try and drill the hole more towards the center of the panel frame to avoid any
damage to the solar panel glass and cells.
2. Attach the brackets to the solar panel frame using a self-tapping stainless steel or
galvanized screws
3. Mark the mounting location for the panels on the surface to which the panels will be mounted.
4. After applying the Sikaflex-715 to your Brackets install them to your pre marked position on
your roof. Ensure you have the panel orientated so the wires/cables coming out the back are on the
correct side. Following the Sikaflex-715 installation instructions that come with the Sikaflex
product; lightly press down over the top of each bracket to ensure the Sikaflex-715 makes a good
contact with all surfaces.
5. Refer to the Sikaflex instructions and allow the required time for the Sikaflex - 715
to completely dry before connecting the wires/cables.
HELPFUL TIP: To help reduce the wires flapping on the roof while you are travelling put
some Sikaflex-715 on the wires in Various Places and adhere them to the roof.
6. While you are waiting for the Sikaflex-715 to dry, install your PV charge controller in the
permanent position you have previously chosen. It is recommended the PV Charge Controller
should be installed in a dry, sheltered location away from sources of high temperature and moisture.
PLEASE NOTE: This instructions are a simple guide for the installation of the U-MO-ABS Series
Plastic Panel Mounts. It is most important you follow the Sikaflex715 ( or other manufacturer )
