Tugboat cylindrical fender

Description: Tugboat cylindrical fenders are made of abrasion resistance rubber with good resilience properties for required applications. The boat bumpers are easy to install and dismantle with users friendly. They are very popular with small port craft owners and tug owners. Tugboat cylindrical fenders are often mounted on bow and stern mounted as the main push fenders. These fenders are often used on the bow in combination with Keyhole, M or W fenders. This type of fender by means of a winding process up to a diameter of 1000 mm. If required they can be provided with tapered ends for better attachment to the ship and with grooves for additional attachment with chains or nylon straps. Various attachment methods are used for securing tugboat fenders to the hull. Smaller fenders up to 500mm diameter are usually fixed using a longitudinal chain running down the bore of the fender, which is connected back to the hull with turnbuckles to tension the chain. Larger fenders also use a longitudinal chain down the bore, but this is generally supplemented by circumferential chains or straps which assist in holding the fender into the vessel bulwark. Tugboat cylindrical fenders can be used for tugboats, work boats, icebreakers, supply boats etc. Features: Can be used in all kinds of tugboats. Keyhole fender

Description: Keyhole fenders are used worldwide and they handled the most demanding tug operations. They offer very reliable protection for the bow/stern of tugboats or for wall of quay. They have a keyhole-shaped hollow on the inside, hence, the name ''keyhole fenders''. These fenders are abrasion-resistant, strong and highly resistant to UV rays, too. The two mounting holes enables simple installation. Either a flat surface or a grooved surface is available depending on situation, or specifically, the friction and grip required. The keyhole fenders have optional smooth or grooved faces to suit different friction requirements, and can be fitted with low-friction UHMW-PE face pads for tough seas. As well as tugs. They are commonly fitted to pilling and similar structures to form a simple, reliable protective surface. Features: Highly resistant to UV rays. Straightforward and simple installation. Wing fender

Description: Wing fenders are usually called DO-type fender because of its O-shaped inner chamber and also due to the fact that it is actually an improved version of the original D-fender. A popular option as a bumper that protects marine assets during all sorts of forces upon contact, especially against the quay wall. Commonly installed on the vessel itself or also on piers/quays. Though relatively uncommon, wing fenders are also available as a whole solid piece without the inner hollow part. Wing fenders possess good energy absorption capabilities while showcasing an impressive durability. They are also very resistant to longitudinal and transverse shear force. Installation process is straightforward and simple. Ends can be beveled easily and custom sizes for wing fenders can be made according to customer's requirements. They are commonly used for tugs, work boats, small-sized ferries and quays. Features: High energy absorption and low reaction force. High installation stability long service time.                                                                               Particularly applicable for tugs, ferries, work boats and small piers/docks.

D-shape fender

Description: D-shape fenders are not strictly tugboat fender, they are ideal for smaller quays and wharves serving fishing boats, tugboats, barges and other work craft. D-shape fenders are also commonly used on pontoons and on inland water ways for lock protection. They provide an excellent barrier against damage from all sizes and shapes of vessels. The flat rear surface of D-shape fender makes them easy to install with a flat bar down the bore. D fenders are also called extrusion fenders. Extrusion is a manufacturing process involving pushing vulcanized rubber through a special die to form a constant cross-section profile. This is a simple and cost effective production method for smaller fenders and allows sections to be made in very long lengths. Special profiles can also be produced economically to customer's specific requirements. D-shape fenders can be fitted by means of bolts and or strips in various manners: horizontally, vertically or diagonally. The mounting holes required are made through the side or through the top and bottom of the fender. D-shape fenders can also be produced vulcanized with required radius, which allow them to be fitted properly to a circular bow or stern. D-shape fenders can be provided in specified lengths and the ends can be beveled. Features: Deal for smaller quays and wharves, also can be used in work boats. Easy to install with a flat bar down the bore. Can be supplied in long lengths and be cut to length, angle cut.
